“Dear Coach Johns,
I am so pleased that we were able to make arrangements for you to visit the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont last week. When I first saw your message about RESPECT last year I knew our Rotary Club needed to bring you to our community to talk to our students. Your message of kindness and respect is so important to our young people as they struggle each and every day to make their way through a very difficult world. What a tremendous impact you had on our students as witnessed by the letter from Jasmine. I’m convinced many more felt the same way, but they just didn’t have the courage to come forward to give you that message. Thanks again for bringing your wonderful message to our students and hopefully we can work on this and make it a continuing project for years to come. Hope you have a great year and I look forward to working with you in the future. Thanks for Being a hero every day.”
